Fashion Trends: Winter 2013 (By Armely)

The mornings have become chilly and the nights longer; if you haven’t guessed- winter is on its way and what would the coldest months of the year be without a killer wardrobe? Grab a pen and paper and take note as I rundown some of winter’s hottest trends for 2013.

An absolute must for winter this year is the military trend. Structured, military style coats in army green are all the rage and you’ll be pleased to know that the camo trend is also back!


Parkas and trousers in camouflage print were all over Paris fashion week and even featured in Givenchy’s menswear collection.
Your closet will not be complete this winter without some leather. Leather is a timeless trend as it never really goes out of style and you can wear a good leather jacket for years to come. Try some less conventional, more risqué items like a leather mini or tight leather trousers and revel in your partly dominatrix look!
And to round up your fabulous winter wardrobe, you’ll need great footwear. Stars like Victoria Beckham have been spotted in the Chelsea boot, which is a flat, menswear inspired ankle boot and looks great with a pair of jeans and an oversized coat. Try Woolworths or Top Shop for a great pair.
