A New Age - Feel The Movement

J.O.E (JesusOverEverything). – All Day Everyday Part 1

Waking Life readers! WHAT IS UP!!! Man I am fired up today! Hope y’all feeling good as well, & that life is beautiful, but if not, then just hang in there where ever you are and whatever you’re going through. It won’t last forever.

Before I start telling y’all about the two very well rounded young gentlemen I’m writing about, let me just take this time to say thank you to all of you. All y’all who have sent through messages of encouragement, have motivated me personally & have just sent out mad love, THANK YOU SO MUCH! I know my posts are actually articles, and they’re a little longer than most blog posts, but thanks for taking the time out of your day to support me & the people I write about.

Okay so, J.O.E. What is J.O.E? What is the purpose of J.O.E. & why should you as the reader, even give a damn about J.O.E.? Well, those were my questions exactly when I first heard about J.O.E. So I set out to meet with the creators of J.O.E. Had a little chat with them, interviewed them about their business and other aspects of it, and I must say, I found it to be quite intriguing. Hope you will too. Check it out:

Seriously, Just Cool It

Sense of Entitlement

Hey everyone... I know I only post once a week, truth is I should actually be studying right now but I just visited a VERY frustrating page on Facebook that really pissed me off. Unfortunately I cannot mention this person's name on my blog, as I'm a law student & I know the risks of getting sued. BUT I can refer you to the page so you can read it yourselves (http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/SunetteBridges?fref=ts).

So I have to get something off my mind & there's something I really need to ask. Why is it that so many South Africans (Black, white, indian, colored) think that the country owes them s***? Why is it that so many South Africans (Again I'm talking to EVERY RACE GROUP! Just to be sure I'll say it again. Black, white, indian, colored) only see what is wrong with our country? Why is it that they're SOOOOOOOO quick to complain yet very slow to do anything about it?

Here's the thing I see, the people (Especially you so called 'educated' ones) make the country, the country does not make you.

Let me explain what I mean

D.L.C.B. Why Be Clean, When You Can Be Dirty?

Let's Talk Dirty
Hey there readers! What a week it's been huh? Let's do a little re-cap shall we? Okay so, Lance Armstrong admits to doping after YEARS of denying it! Lame! The High Court in Pretoria - South Africa, ruled on January 15th that it's no longer illegal for kids between the ages of 12-16 to engage in sexual activity (as if the illegality of it all stopped them before, pffft... Seriously). I guess South Africa will have it's own version of "16 & pregnant" now huh? Oh & Chelsea Football Club Squandered a two-goal lead against Southampton at the Bridge to draw 2-2. (Ok that last one wasn't dirty, I just wanted to make fun of them haha).

But that's not the kind of dirty I'm talking about, let me explain.

The Birth of Waking Life

New Beginnings

Wow! Ok... So I’m a blogger now! Haha, I’ve become one of the many men & women I’d make fun of as a teen... I reckon I should tell y’all about myself so here goes.
My Name is Joe Tambwe. Born in the DRC but raised in South Africa since I was like two years old. My hobbies are travelling &... &... Ah Shucks! What am I saying?! Y’all don’t wanna read that crap. I mean this isn’t a dating site. What y’all wanna read is what makes my blog so damn interesting & why should you follow it... So here goes (Again)

What is Waking Life? Why did I call it Waking Life? & what can you expect from Waking Life?
